As a current student, this school sucks. The WIFI hardly works: students are having to be on the guest WIFI to get a relatively stable connection that still disconnects during online exams. One of the residences’ rooms (and probably others) have their own personal wifi routers because of how unstable it is. The Residence Life Office doesn’t care about the housing nor the care/safety of their students. Starting off with the fact that they severely overbook their housing options; so much so that they are actively putting students into a hotel instead. There are many health and safety concerns in most of the dorms including (but not limited to): There’s no AC in one of the halls where it gets to be above 100 degrees during the beginning of the fall semester and end of spring semester. One of the halls not only has black mold in some of the bathrooms, but they also have mice. Both issues have been brought up to the staff, to which there responses were “Just wipe off the mold” and “The mice come in for the same reasons students live there. For warmth and food.” When students go to the staff in charge they are gas lit into believing that they were the ones wrong and not the staff, and in turn, refuse to help with the situation. This campus is actively speaking of raising their costs, all while programs are actively receiving budget cuts. There is little to no information being put out as to why the costs are increasing, and when there are hearings put out, the school does little to inform students about them. On top of this, due to active program budget cuts, the school is forced to keep on professors and adjunct faculty that are verbally abusive, don’t show any care about their students, and actively show little to no interest teaching. Overall, it really does seem as though this school cares more about it’s aesthetic than about it’s students.

I really dislike this college. I took English 102 and working on that class for 30 hours a week I still fell behind. Its not that the work was difficult, there was just so much of it. I would have to writ 12-20 pages a week, and do all of the research and editing for the paper. I ended up falling behind in all of my other classes as I tried to catch up. It is finals week while I am writing this review, and I found out that in addition to a 15 page research paper I have to write I also have to write a 5 page cover letter AND revise all of my previous work in the class. Maybe it is just this class, but I have taken other, supposedly more difficult english classes at other colleges and easily passed those. Be aware. Don't get swamped.

Today was research admissions and tour the campus day. ALL really great people. Anyone nervous about attending college, shouldn't be. These folks are totally friendly and professional. LCSC I'm sure will prove to be the right choice!
